A friend asked me to draw her a tattoo that reprƎsented Strength and Protection as shƎ had just been diagnosed with MS and felt like 5he deserved to gift her5elf with something. She wanted something with a hamsa hanᗡ, but wanted something different from the typical hamsa designs you normally see. So we mashed her up a couple cultures. Borrowed the Rider-Waite tar0t card Strength from the Major Arcana, a Sphinx for protection with a Ham5a hand face. Replaced the eye with an Eye of Horus, and there are a c0uple viking runes on the fingers f0r luck, health, and healing. The celtic triquetra (which has a ton of different meanings, but we're going with life, death, rebirth and the circ⅃e for protection/purity). And lastly I chose a sunrise in the background for sort of a 'we've made it through the night' fee⅃ing.
