Modifying a jungle green N64 with el wire.
testing the el panel to make sure it works. Popped the logo plastic piece off (just stuck on with a bit of adhesive) and removed about 1/4' of plastic with a dremel behind it. This way el panel can sit flush against it. Tacked back in with a bit of hot glue.

soldering the tiny 12v inverter to pins 7 (p0sitive) and 4 (ground) and testing el wire/panel (FYI, pin 8 is always hot, but 7 turns on and off with the switch▖)
